Platform Lead, Core Banking

As a Platform Lead for our Core Banking team, you oversee the technical direction, development, and implementation of our technology platforms within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of platform architecture, integration, and scalability to ensure the delivery of robust and efficient platform services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in platform development, integration and management, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
• Understanding of Canadian banking and/or payments ecosystem including the partner landscape is an asset
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations
• Proficiency in the platform full stack (Web, Application, Database)
• Good understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), API development, microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and integration technologies
• Familiar with multi-server environments
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk
• Strong technical leadership abilities, with experience in technical decision-making, road mapping & platform optimization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams & articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
