Senior Regional Director, Inclusive Banking

Vancity is a member-owned credit union that is looking for a Senior Regional Director to lead the strategic growth and oversight of a retail branch region within their Inclusive Banking network. The successful candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in retail banking or financial services, including leadership responsibility for branch teams or multiple locations.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in retail banking or financial services, including leadership responsibility for branch teams or multiple locations
• Proven ability to drive branch or regional performance, balancing service excellence, growth, and operational effectiveness in a regulated environment
• Strong understanding of branch operations, including sales management, advice delivery, and day-to-day service execution within a retail banking network
• Demonstrated people leadership capability, with experience coaching Branch Managers, building engagement, and developing future leaders in a multi-branch or regional context
• Experience implementing divisional strategies at a regional or branch level, using data and performance insights to guide priorities and resource allocation
• Working knowledge of risk, compliance, and conduct requirements within a branch banking environment
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
