The Controls Project Engineer II is responsible for commissioning and testing material handling systems, including configuring devices, performing testing, and documenting progress. Requirements
- Configure component level devices
- Perform device level testing
- Document device level testing
- Perform zone level testing
- Document zone level testing
- Perform area level testing
- Document area level testing
- Document daily progress of assigned tasks
- Manage punch lists
- Monitor and document the progress of subcontractors
- Follow all safety requirements at the jobsite
- Write commissioning checklist
- Write test plans
- Write Controls Functional Specification
- Write, debug, and test PLC code
- Develop and test SCADA/HMI programs
- Commission and test PLC control panel
- Perform quality checks
- Preparation and review of daily and weekly progress reports
