Job Description
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Core Platform team at Vanta, you'll drive technical strategy across infrastructure and security systems, abstractions, and paved roads that enable Vanta's entire engineering organization to build and ship products with velocity and confidence. You'll lead complex, multi-quarter initiatives across infrastructure and security hardening, and shape the technical direction for systems that support Vanta's most demanding enterprise customers while maintaining the developer velocity that has driven our success.
Requirements
- Deep industry experience with expertise in platform engineering, infrastructure systems, or backend architecture
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives spanning multiple quarters and teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Mastery in system design, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS), with demonstrated experience building and scaling platform systems that serve internal engineering teams
