Job Description
Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to maintain the overall health of its data center's infrastructure systems. The successful candidate will oversee testing, inspection, and maintenance of critical equipment and technical systems, and ensure safe work practices are adhered to.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline
- Registered local Government certification to perform electrical switching and/or mechanical services operations
- 2-3 years working experience in building, electrical and / or HVAC operation and maintenance
- High level of computer literacy (mainly Word, Excel, and databases)
- Prepared to work on a rotating 24/7 shift basis, weekends, public holidays and be available for emergency response
- Prepared to wear PPE and working in extreme conditions
