CNC Programmer

Vast is developing next-generation space stations to ensure a continuous human presence in space for America and its allies. We are seeking a CNC Programmer to support the development of systems for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

Requirements

• Program complex parts for mills and/or lathes
• Proficiency in Hypermill and/or Esprit
• Work with tooling suppliers to determine the best tools for the job
• Understand how to ramp parts from development to production
• Reduce machine time per part when possible
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings
• Increase overall efficiency of machining operations
• Procure tooling necessary for jobs
• Effectively work as a team and pass on workload to the following shift
• Support and foster a strong team environment
