Job Description
Vast is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, Propulsion, to support the development of systems for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. The role will collaborate closely with propulsion and systems design teams, develop manufacturing processes, and perform hands-on assembly and testing of propulsion components.
Requirements
- Collaborate closely with propulsion and systems design teams
- Develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing plans
- Support propulsion systems
- Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges
- Work directly with suppliers
- Perform hands-on assembly and testing
- Participate in design and manufacturing readiness reviews
- Partner with quality engineering
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
