Job Description
Join our growing team at VCA VREC of Westbury and help provide exceptional care to pets in our community. We're seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician for our Emergency and Critical Care department on our OVERNIGHT shifts. We support full technician skill utilization and provide gold-standard medicine with a focus on patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Ability to calculate drug doses
- Full Technician Skill Utilization
- Venipuncture / IVC placement
- Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
- Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
- Providing compassionate care for all patients
- Imaging and advanced procedures
- Paid on-call availability
