Job Description
VDOT is seeking a Land Use Engineer to provide technical advice, guidance, and training, prepare analyses, and manage assigned projects related to transportation projects and programs. This role involves analyzing engineering data, managing projects, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will contribute to land use permitting, infrastructure management, and project execution.
Requirements
- Analyze and interpret engineering data and information.
- Prepare complete and clear reports and recommendations.
- Assist in the Land Use Permitting Function.
- Establish an effective line of communication between VDOT, contractors, government agencies and the public.
- Utilize established VDOT policies and procedures in the development and delivery of engineering projects.
