Fibre Splicers wanted to join our growing team and keep the nation connected. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and expanding fibre across the UK.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fibre Splicer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of fibre optic technology, network construction, and fault-finding techniques
• Call-out and fault-finding experience is essential
• Proficiency with fibre testing tools (OTDR, fusion splicers, power meters, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and network diagrams
• Problem-solving mindset and resilience under pressure
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Determination to meet and exceed daily targets
• Strong call-out and fault-finding skills to resolve network issues efficiently
• Team spirit, clear communication, and support for your crew
• Self-motivation and the drive to continuously grow in your craft
• Understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Experience working in confined spaces
• Full UK driving licence, held for more than 2 years, over 25 years old, no more than 9 points on licence
