Job Description
Vectara is looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join their team, who will connect the user with the magic of their product, aligning capabilities to pain points and business opportunities. The Field Engineer will provide technical assistance to customers in all phases of their journey, from initial learning to expansion usage. This role requires maintaining a strong relationship with Product and Engineering to effectively respond to customer needs while ensuring that what they build meets market requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience supporting GTM motion of companies in AI, ML, search, analytics, data engineering
- 5+ years of software development experience in AI, ML, search, analytics, data engineering
- Experience selling to and servicing IT or Data organizations within large enterprises
- Proficiency with REST services and at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, Java
- Understanding of architectural principles for cloud-based platforms and on premise systems
