Job Description
Veeco is seeking a Commodity Manager to define and execute strategic direction for assigned commodities and categories, driving cost, quality, and supply continuity. The role requires deep market knowledge and supplier insight, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and long-term business success.
Requirements
- Provide leadership in and develop an understanding of the market for the commodities/categories assigned
- Create, execute, maintain, and continually improve upon commodity strategies
- Anticipate, recognize, analyze and solve complex supply problems
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Negotiate best in class price, quality, delivery, payment and delivery terms
- Lead, coordinate and support onsite supplier visits, assessments, audits and continuous improvement opportunities
