Job Description
Veeco is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair semiconductor equipment on customer sites. The role involves troubleshooting, conducting testing, training employees, and providing support to customers. Veeco is a technology company that develops and manufactures advanced cutting-edge machines for various industries.
Requirements
- Install, modify, repair and perform preventative maintenance procedures following SOP policies.
- Lead on-site installation, upgrade, testing and repair of equipment.
- Conduct final configuration and functionality testing of systems.
- Train Veeco and customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain and initiate contact with customers through daily and weekly on-site meetings.
- Create and present reports, project plans, training plans, certification matrices and other documentation as required.
