Accountant

Join Velocity Electronics as our next ACCOUNTANT in Austin to perform a variety of accounting functions to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes. The accountant will be responsible for month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, compiling data for tax filings and other responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Experience in operational accounting and accounting services (AR, AP, etc.)
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong computer skills; experience with complex ERP systems is preferred
