Forklift Maintenance Technician

Velocity Maintenance Services is a rapidly growing provider of resident technicians for lift trucks and other mobile material handling assets. The company seeks a dependable Forklift Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, as well as planned maintenance on lift trucks.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience preferred
• High School or GED Diploma required
• Must have forklift mechanic experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Industrial battery experience
• Dock & door experience
• Arc, Mig, and Tig welding experience preferred
• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision
• Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices
• Manufacturer training available on specific equipment for technician hired
