Job Description
Velsera is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its technical teams and drive the development of AI-powered software and professional services for drug discovery and development. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in AI-driven software development, and excellent leadership skills.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with AI-driven software development practices and tooling in cloud-native environments
- Proficiency in one or more of: Java/Spring Boot, Python (Flask/FastAPI)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and modern CI/CD practices
- 2+ years in an engineering leadership role
- Experience with agile delivery at scale: sprint planning, risk tracking, cross-functional stakeholder communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
