We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Venn, a fast-growing B2B fintech in Canada. As the ONLY digital banking platform in Canada, we're looking for A-players to help us disrupt traditional banking practices. The successful candidate will lead the development of financial services products, collaborate with other teams, and operate independently, leveraging their experience in shipping products in a fast-paced environment like an early-stage startup.
Requirements
- Experience in building, scaling, and supporting production-ready products from scratch
- 5+ years of professional experience with Java
- 6+ years of experience in backend development
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
