Job Description
Ventana is building high-performance RISC-V CPUs for data center, AI, and edge workloads, seeking a Performance Benchmarking Engineer. This role involves working with existing, iconic processors, and contributing to a clean-slate future with open standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development with C/C++, Python
- 8-12 years of hands-on experience in performance benchmarking
- Hands-on experience running, profiling, and performance optimization of benchmarks like Dhrystone, Coremark, LMBench, STREAM, SPECCPU2017, SPECjbb2015, EEMBC
- Linux application and kernel performance optimization
- Knowledge of benchmark workloads across Intel, AMD & ARM64 platforms
- Linux application and kernel performance optimization
- Knowledge of competitive benchmarking workloads across Intel, AMD & ARM64 platforms
- Experience with GNU/LLVM tool chain and debuggers like GDB
- Experience with real-world experience with cloud workloads like Memcached, NGINX, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, HBase
