Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of maintenance workers, ensuring equipment is running efficiently, and managing mechanics. The role involves scheduling, troubleshooting, and developing preventative maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, TPM experience, and knowledge of GMPs, sanitation, and union relations.
Requirements
- Schedule and direct maintenance employees in performing daily work
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve work problems
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance strategies
- Communicate effectively with oral and written materials
- Maintain conformance with OSHA standards, NFPA, DOLI, Company policies, and other Federal and State regulations
- Appraise employee performance and recommend wage advancement based on skill level
