Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Model Based Systems Engineer to support the Office of the Undersecretary for Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) Mission Integration. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and analyzing complex systems-of-systems architectures.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience in systems engineering, mission engineering, or operational analysis within defense or military environments.
- 5+ years of experience developing or assessing operational and mission-level architectures, kill chains/kill webs, CONOPs, or system-of-systems constructs.
- 3+ years of experience using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies and frameworks (DoDAF, SysML, UAF, TOGAF).
- Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or Innoslate.
- Strong understanding of system interface requirements, requirements management, and functional decomposition.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Proven experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams involving analysts, engineers, and technical specialists.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and briefing skills, with the ability to convey complex systems information to senior stakeholders.
