Senior Wastewater Operations Travel Technician

Veolia is seeking a Senior Wastewater Operations Travel Technician to assist with new account startups, temporary operations, and to cover existing facilities while local operators are out on PTO/sick time. The role will involve operating and maintaining wastewater plants, providing training to operators, and communicating with clients and Veolia management.

Requirements

• Operate and maintain wastewater plants to comply with discharge permit requirements
• Provide direction and support to operators on other shifts
• Conduct lab analysis of waste streams to verify treatment and make process changes
• Communicate frequently with Veolia management and clients regarding operation and maintenance
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures
• Analyze lab data to uncover potential treatment issues and implement process changes
• Submit daily and/or weekly reports to clients and Veolia management
• Manage chemical and spare parts inventories, and waste disposal activities
• Provide training and facilitate training of operators for all facets of WWTP operation and management
• Perform all duties in compliance with site safety plan
• Optimize WWTP operation and lead by example through hard work and respectful treatment of team members
• Assist Veolia management with training and development of operators
• Provide direction to team on daily operation and maintenance of WWTP to ensure compliance
