The Accounting Software Implementation Specialist role has a dual focus. The primary focus is to lead the successful implementation of Veracross Business Modules focusing on complex and demanding projects. The secondary focus is on using subject matter expertise to continually improve the implementation processes and procedures.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Accounting degree, coursework, or relevant experience in a Business Office setting
- 2-5 years of experience implementing Accounting software, including data conversion; experience with SaaS a plus.
- Experience in leading Veracross Full Accounting Implementations, or similar SaaS accounting implementation experience preferred
- Experience as part of an independent school business office running a SaaS accounting platform a plus
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Skilled user of technology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using a high degree of initiative and independent judgement
- Ability to learn complex, enterprise level software systems at a level that supports teaching others
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis
- Highly organized with the ability to self manage in a remote and/or hybrid work environment
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time if needed
