Lead Specimen Processor

The Lead Specimen Processor role is responsible for receiving and accessioning specimens, handling specimen documentation, and data entry of requisitions, and requires leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of accessioning experience and/or in a lab setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to navigate efficiently through, or have familiarity with, various Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and have proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and collaborations skills
• Ability to work independently
• Enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit
