Sr Scientist, Development

Veracyte is a global diagnostics company seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join their Product Development team. The successful candidate will contribute to assay development for high-throughput operation, study design and documentation, and execute bench studies while working to strict design control requirements.

Requirements

• Familiarity with design controls and phase-gate processes in product development
• Extensive bench experience (>6 years)
• Excellent data interpretation skills
• Proven success leading projects collaboratively
• Molecular assay expert
• Theoretical and hands-on knowledge of biochemistry, genetics, and biochemistry underlying molecular biology methods
• Fluency with clinical sample preparation, assay, and quality control under high-throughput production conditions
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to keep abreast of technological platform advancements
