Job Description
The School Psychologist works in collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to support student academic achievement, social/emotional functioning, and the special education evaluation and eligibility process.
Requirements
- Completes psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team evaluation and facilitate associated meetings
- Uses a variety of appropriate instruments/strategies to assess student abilities
- Score, analyze and interpret intellectual, academic, social/emotional/behavioral and other psychometric assessments
- Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and intervention teams to identify needs and tailor strategies
- Maintain professional credentials, follow ethical codes
- Collaborates with their supervisor weekly to review student cases, protocols and procedures
