FINANCE OFFICER FEB 2026

Verde Edge Consulting Ltd is seeking a Finance Officer to manage all financial functions for a client in the Construction industry, based in Nairobi. The role requires a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management and CPA-K, with at least 4 years of experience in financial management. Key responsibilities include budgeting, accounts payable, financial reporting, payroll processing, tax compliance, financial analysis, cash management, and risk management.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management and CPA-K
• At least 4 years in a financial management position in a busy commercial or related environment
• Proven experience as a Finance Officer on a similar role
• Commercial/Business awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Superior analytical and technical skills; problem solving driving by data/metrics
• High integrity and keen to details
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and make key decisions
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership capabilities and organizational skills
• Should have initiative and ability to work as part of a team
