Attorney II - In house

We are seeking a senior attorney to serve in the position of Attorney II reporting to the Senior Director and Senior Corporate Counsel. The Attorney II role will advise on contract interpretation and risk, policies and regulations related to Verisign’s registry business, new product initiatives, advertising content and agreements, customer contract issues and marketing programs.

Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
• 7+ years of legal experience, preferably with some time spent in an in-house legal role in a technology/internet field
• Experience drafting complex commercial agreements and leading negotiations, with an emphasis on technology licensing
• Experience supporting the development and launch of new products and services
• Must be admitted to the Virginia bar or licensed in another state or the District of Columbia, and eligible for admission as a Virginia Corporate Counsel
