Job Description
We are seeking a Visual and Performing Arts Enrichment Teacher to join our high school team. The role involves creating a curriculum that inspires creativity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the arts, and delivering high-quality instruction while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators.
Requirements
- Teach different electives covering disciplines such as theater, music, dance, and visual arts
- Design and implement an engaging arts curriculum that uses various visual and performing art techniques
- Organize school-wide student performances and displays of student work
- Serve as an advisor for one crew and facilitate daily crew blocks
- Communicate proactively with students and families
- Maintain an inclusive environment that respects and promotes diversity in the arts
- Engage in continuous professional development and collaboration with fellow educators
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback
