Job Description
At Veritas Prep, Middle School ELA/History Teachers play a critical role in ensuring all students develop the literacy, historical thinking, and academic confidence they need to thrive in high school, college, and beyond. As an ELA/History Teacher, you will co-advise a class of approximately 27 students alongside a Math/Science Teacher, sharing responsibility for both academic success and strong classroom culture.
Requirements
- Implement school-wide routines and systems that create consistency, maximize learning time, and support a focused, orderly environment
- Deliver High Quality Instructional Materials (Wit & Wisdom for ELA and Investigating History for History) that enable students to develop strong literacy skills and historical thinking.
- Collaborate closely with your ELA/History team to internalize curriculum, strengthen instructional materials in response to student data, and align on best practices
