Staff Frontend Engineer - Alarms

Verkada is looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to build advanced UI components that power Verkada’s AI-driven intrusion detection and video monitoring systems. The role requires 7–10+ years of experience building production-grade web applications and expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably React).

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience building production-grade web applications
• Expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably React)
• Strong understanding of UI architecture, performance, and browser behavior
• A product mindset—you care deeply about UX and building polished, usable tools
• Solid debugging skills and comfort working with APIs and asynchronous systems
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
