Finishing Lab Technician I (P)_MFG

Finishing Lab Technician I (P) prepares lenses for edging process by marking and blocking lenses; applying tint and UV coating to lenses; and preparing and packaging eyewear to ship according to provider specifications.

Requirements

• Properly prioritize job flow as dictated by color code system.
• Powers up and performs equipment validation process.
• Identifies type of block to be used based on prescription and lens material.
• Utilizes blocking machine to apply leap pad and remove pad tape.
• Inspects each order for scratches, pits and other cosmetics flaws, returning any unacceptable jobs to the appropriate team(s) for repair.
