Job Description
Responsible for developing ASME calculations, drawings, and bills of materials, providing consultation during quoting, sales, purchasing, and production processes, and ensuring compliance with various codes and standards.
Requirements
- Validate pressure vessel design and material construction during the quoting process.
- Create customer approval drawings and revise as necessary.
- Create and validate calculations with ASME and customer requirements.
- Create bills of material in the ERP system (SAP).
- Address in-process fabrication questions and issues.
- Prepare for and participate in supplier audits, and follow up as needed.
- Collaborate with QC lead to perform critical holding point inspection during fabrication, installation and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate with sourcing engineer for new supplier qualification and supplier performance management.
- Able to handle and execute projects or work on site to improve plant efficiency in terms of preparation, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projects and monitor the workmanship on site.
