Job Description
The Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounting) will assist the General Manager in overseeing the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and best practices, and developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or deputy role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
