Job Description
Vertex is seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Ecologist - Regional Lead (British Columbia) to oversee multidisciplinary ecological projects, ensure technical excellence, and guide the growth of Vertex’s Urban Development & Infrastructure practice in British Columbia.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related discipline
- 8–12+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting, with demonstrated experience supporting commercial real estate and development projects in British Columbia
- Lead and manage biophysical focused environmental projects, including: Vegetation, soils, wetlands, wildlife, fisheries and aquatic assessments, Regulatory permitting, baseline studies, and impact assessments
