Swamper

Vertex is seeking a Swamper with experience in Hydrovac units or similar to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will have a valid Safety tickets, a clean commercial drivers abstract, and a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean commercial drivers abstract (previous 5 years)
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Hydrovac/Combovac Swamper is required
• Possess safety tickets including but not limited to First Aid/CPR, Ground Disturbance Level II Supervisory, Confined Space, H2S Alive, Fall Protection
• Must be able to successfully pass a 13-panel drug and alcohol test
• Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently while efficiently managing time and productivity
• Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
• Integrity and reliability, willing to accept after hour calls when necessary
