Job Description
Environmental Health & Safety Specialist responsible for supporting, coordinating, implementing and/or conducting environmental, safety, and health activities. Ensures employees are trained in environmental, safety, and health policies and procedures. Facilitates a proactive safety program that actively involves employees through safety teams and committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Occupational Health and Safety or Safety Science
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Electrical work (low and medium voltage) and/or Construction
- Strong organizational and research skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Strong customer service skills
- Broad knowledge of environmental, health, safety, NFPA 70E, Electrical and DOT regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
