Job Description
The Fabrication Engineer serves as liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process and engineering related issues. The role requires a strong technical background in slitter equipment and sheet metal manufacturing processes using metal coils.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- At least 4 years of high-level experience in manufacturing or engineering
- Fluency in English and Spanish required (read, write and speak)
- Strong technical background in slitter equipment and sheet metal manufacturing processes using metal coils
- Well-developed, advance knowledge and skills in engineering, project management and methodologies
- Manage large and difficult projects
- Experience in drafting tools such as PRO-E, Auto-Cad or others
- Proficiency in use of MS Office Software – advanced Power Point skills required
