Project Manager

Vertiv is hiring a Project Manager to lead projects for critical infrastructure and data center projects nationally. The person will focus on establishing relationships and processes to ensure a smooth repeatable process is established, implemented, and followed. The job requires effective communication with all levels of multiple organizations and utilizes standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively.

Requirements

• Utilize standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define and obtain the appropriate resources required to fulfill the project scope of work.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups throughout the project.
• Work closely with the jobsite and field resources to ensure understanding and communication of the schedule, budget, and scope.
• Escalate and create urgency around any issues that would impede the success of the project.
• Ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner and communicated to the stakeholders.
• Follow reporting and tracking programs to assure the project is on target for quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Responsible for the financial performance on assigned projects.
• Be proactive in establishing a culture of Safety for each project.
