Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer at Vertiv, you will provide conceptual and detailed design of building structures, work with local agencies to ensure compliance with regulations, and manage contracted engineering companies. You will also provide technical support for construction phases, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and offer creative solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or acceptable experience
• Professional engineering (PE) License – optional
• Minimum 4 years of mechanical/structural engineering experience
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications
• Knowledge and understanding of local and national building codes
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Detail oriented
• Proven leadership and problem solving skills
• Proven Project Management skills
