We're on a mission to democratise global finance and empower businesses in Emerging Markets to reach the world. We're looking for a growth-minded leader to play a pivotal role in our Onboarding Specialists team, driving the launch of our localized onboarding capability in the UAE and beyond.
Requirements
- Will need a university degree as a minimum entry criteria.
- At least 6 years working as a KYC/Onboarding Analyst in a regulated firm, ideally within the UAE market.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant regulation including but not limited to the DFSA AML Rulebook, CBUAE Rulebook, Federal Decree AML Law (10) 2025, Money Laundering Regulations, Proceeds of Crime Act, JMLSG and a strong understanding of the current sanctions environment, is essential.
- Understanding of the UAE regulatory landscape, particularly DFSA (DIFC) and CBUAE aligned KYB/KYC requirements.
- A proven track record of building or enhancing an Onboarding function (not just operating within one).
- Horizon scanning aware - someone who keeps abreast of regulatory change that may affect the KYC space.
- Thorough understanding of complex structures including but not limited to trusts and the ability to unwrap beneficial ownership to the required levels.
- Understanding of the nuances of Emerging Markets, with a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - confidence to speak and present to leadership and wider business teams.
- Strong work ethic and the desire to perform well consistently.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to influence non-technical partners (e.g. Sales, Product) on complex risk issues.
