Vessel Advisors is seeking a Fractional CFO to provide expert financial leadership to a dynamic law firm. The role involves developing financial strategies, managing budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Requirements

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the law firm's goals and objectives.
• Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to firm leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization to ensure financial stability.
• Oversee risk management by identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal industry requirements.
• Advise on investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to maximize firm value.
• Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO, preferably serving law firms or professional services organizations (at least 10+ years of CFO experience required).
• Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Thorough understanding of legal industry financial practices and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to provide strategic financial leadership in a part-time, flexible capacity.
• Proficiency with financial software and tools commonly used in accounting and law firm management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex financial challenges while maintaining integrity and discretion.
