Vestas Wind are looking for an experienced Head of Technical Sales and Project Management to join our collaborative FE&T team in Melbourne. This is an exciting position adding great value to the ANZ business with reach across all departments, ensuring a formidable technical package and cohesive message to our clients across the region.
Requirements
- Masters in Business Management, Electrical Engineering or Power Systems with commercial exposure
- Team and people leadership: listen, motivate, support, empower your direct reports in a high-performance team culture
- Results-oriented, with the ability to develop a team with high quality focus
- Solid communication skills and prior experience interacting with a variety of technical and commercial stakeholders, at every level of an organization, internally and externally
- Experience and ability to present at executive level
- Confidence in directing technical negotiations, ideally of heavy machinery, power plant equipment or similar, in Australia or globally
- The ability to be creative, organised and collaborative with proven experience working in diverse, complex and pressured project environments within a matrix organization
- High level of customer focus, with a holistic understanding of how technical solutions impact a business case commercially and contractually
- High curiosity for multi-faceted technical content and challenges, and ability to navigate technical problem-solving effectively, building a holistic understanding of commercial and legal aspects of technical solutions
- Flexibility for travel across the region
- Knowledge of wind / renewable energy technical functions
