Job Description
The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing nursing department functions, as well as providing direct nursing care as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of one-year experience in nursing service administration
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
- Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
