Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in animal care and a strong desire to support our veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.
Requirements
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Provide compassionate handling and restraint of animals for exams and treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments under veterinary supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, kennels, and treatment areas.
- Assist with animal care, including feeding, bathing, and post-surgical monitoring.
- Educate pet owners on basic pet care, nutrition, and preventive health.
- Prepare and sanitize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Stock and maintain inventory of clinic supplies.
