The Asst Director, Veterans Health Policy is responsible for supervising the VFW's health policy team, providing direction on health policy initiatives and casework, and maintaining liaison with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The incumbent will create analytical reports, render assistance and training to Department Service Officers, and administer the VFW VAVS Program. They will also coordinate with the VHA on program developments and implementation, and provide analysis and input.
