Veterans Village is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with financial accounting operations, grant administration, and payroll. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, 3 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products and accounting software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- At least 3 years’ accounting work experience (non-profit accounting experience preferred)
- Familiarity with cost accounting and GAAP
- Experience with Microsoft office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and various accounting software
- Experience with a ten-key calculator by touch
- Highly effective organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while maintaining a positive attitude
- Highest attention to details and level of accuracy
