Job Description
VEG is a veterinary emergency company that helps people and their pets when they need it most. They are looking for an Emergency Veterinarian (Relief) to join their team at their H Street location in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be passionate about emergency medicine and have a DVM degree. They will handle emergency cases, perform surgeries, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Experience in emergency medicine, including emergency surgery and endoscopy
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and support up to 40 kg with assistance
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis
