Emergency Veterinary Nursing Trainer - Viera, FL

VEG is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Nursing Trainer to help others grow and develop in emergency medicine. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong communication and collaboration skills, and a relentless desire to make a difference in the lives of VEGgies. As a Nursing Trainer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the hospital-wide culture, helping to create a better emergency experience for people and their pets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located
• High level of knowledge and skill in emergency medicine
• Previous training experience preferred
• Relentless passion for teaching and uplifting others
• Ownership mindset around your team’s growth and development
• Strong communicator and collaborator across teams
• Excitement about VEG’s culture and mission
• Willingness to travel to other VEG hospitals in your region to help with new veterinarian onboarding as needed
