Veterinary Sonographer - Chicago, IL (South Loop)

VEG is a veterinary emergency company that offers a unique opportunity for a Sonographer to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound studies and facilitating ultrasound training at VEG hospitals and training facilities. You will work closely with emergency doctors to provide same-day ultrasound scans for pets and assist in coordinating education opportunities and overall ultrasound training for your home and regional hospitals.

Requirements

• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT), diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS), and/or equivalent experience
• 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience
• Previous training experience and the patience to teach and develop doctors, nurses, and fellow sonographers
• Comfortable mentoring others and giving/receiving feedback from colleagues
• Adaptability to changing environments
• Excellent communicator with peers, customers, and VEGgies
• Eagerness to grow as a sonographer through training and continuing education
• Desire to travel to regional hospitals and off-site training facilities
