Job Description
Broadway Animal Hospital of Riverdale is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a valid license in NY or be in school to become a veterinary technician, and have strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, procedures, and terminology
- Proficiency in compassionately handling and restraining animals
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using veterinary software for patient records and medical documentation
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and restrain animals of varying sizes
